Apprio, a leader in automation and AI systems for the healthcare industry, focused on how to transform healthcare systems in Europe and beyond during the Innovating Health Together conference.
The event, held Oct. 15-16 in Porto, Portugal, brought together healthcare and technology leaders to foster collaboration and discuss innovative solutions to advance the practice and delivery of healthcare.
“When we opted to set up an Azores operation, we did it with the intention of helping to drive efficiency in the European healthcare system through automation,” said Kali Durgampudi, Apprio president and CEO. “Through events such as this, we are able to build connections and show others the value of automating systems.”
Apprio opened its Pico, Azores, operation in 2023 and has since become a strong fixture in the region’s health technology industry. Among other activities, the company has partnered with local business incubator CRIAR Tec and joined the Commercial and Industrial Association of Pico Island.
