Patriot Awards are presented by the Office of the Secretary of Defense Employer Support of the Guard and Reserves (ESGR) to individuals who have shown significant commitment to supporting employees called out of the office to fulfill their service in the National Guard or Reserve.
“It’s an honor to be recognized for supporting our National Guard and Reserve members,” said Britt. “These citizen warriors step up when the country calls on them, and it’s my civic duty and privilege to be able to step up to support them as well.”
The Patriot Award is one of several Department of Defense honors ESGR grants to employers, spouses, and others for their support of National Guard and Reserve employees. Honorees are nominated by Reservists and Guardsmen.
